31 Day Challenge, Day 14-Flowers

“He can call me a flower if he wants to.  I don’t mind.”

“Pretty!  Pretty flower!”

Was that not one of the most adorable scenes in Bambi?  Here, go watch it!

I had not planned this at all when I was thinking of what to do for today’s challenge.  I just knew that whatever I did would be horrible, so I was going to just throw a lily on a finger or two and call it a day.  But then my mother start making cracks about how I should paint bags of flour on my nails, and my sister decided to throw Flower from Bambi into the conversation.  I was sold.  It added a bit of a fun element to a day that I was dreading (for good reason too, do you see these sad attempts at actual flowers?).  So in addition to my dotted flowers, I have an accent nail with Flower!

The colors used for this nail art were China Glaze Gaga for Green, Kleancolor Pastel Yellow, Revlon Parfumerie Sunlit Grass, Kleancolor Pastel Blue, Kleancolor Pastel Pink, Kleancolor Pastel Orange, Kleancolor Black, Essie Blanc, No7 Beanie, and a touch of Kleancolor Beach Blue.  Wow lots of Kleancolors, huh?

You can’t really see Flower very well with the shiny top coat, so I took a few photos with a matte top coat as well.  It made my dot flowers prettier too!

I really like this, and I am so happy that today’s challenge was successful despite my worries!  It gives me hope that tomorrow’s delicate print nails will be okay too!
